Author Guideline

Manuscript Preparation, Writing, and Revision Guidelines
1. The manuscript should be in the form of research in the field of Islamic legal studies.
2. IJTA does not accept manuscripts for article review.
3. The manuscript sent to the JIHI should be original work, i.e., the same manuscript must not have been
     published or accepted for publication in any other journals/ books either in full or substantial part, and
     must not be submitted to any other journal for concurrent publication or being considered for
     publication or even being reviewed. 
4. The manuscript is written in English and includes the author's name, institutional affiliation, and e-mail
     address.
5. Manuscripts must comply with the following guidelines and should be formatted in
    accordance with the JIHI template for submission. The Paper that does not comply with this
    requirement may be returned for revision (format/template) before entering the review process.
    - The manuscript could only be sent via the open journal system (OJS) mechanism (not by email).
    - The Editor of IJTA reserves the right to edit the grammar and spelling of the text contained without
       reducing or changing the intent of the writing.

Writing Guidelines:
The Manuscript is written in the following order:
1. Title of the Paper (Center, Cambria 16, Bold, Alignment Center)
2. First Author*1, Second Author2, Third Author3

3. Abstract
    Maximum 150-200 words italicized, Cambria, Italic, writing type 10 points, and justified.  The abstract should
    clearly include Purpose, Method, Results, Implications, and Conclusion. Avoid citations, abbreviations,     
    and unnecessary background information
4. Keywords: Provide 3–5 
     (Arrange keywords alphabetically, Avoid repeating words already used in the title, and Use internationally     
     recognized indexing terms) Example: Artificial Intelligence; Destination Competitiveness; Machine Learning;
     Smart Tourism; Tourism Analytics)
5. INTRODUCTION (Cambria font 12, Align Left, Spacing 1.15).
    The introduction should clearly present the research background, supported by recent empirical
    evidence and relevant literature, followed by a critical review of previous studies to establish the
    theoretical foundation. Authors must explicitly identify the research gap(s) (theoretical, empirical,
    methodological, or contextual) that justify the necessity of the study, clearly formulate the research
    objectives, and conclude with the expected contributions of the article, including its theoretical,
    practical, and/or methodological significance. The introduction should primarily cite recent references
    published within the last 10 years, particularly peer-reviewed journal articles and conference
    proceedings, while ensuring alignment with the scope of IJTA: International Journal of Tourism Business
    Research.
6. RESEARCH METHOD (Cambria font 12, Align Left, Spacing 1.15).
    The method section should provide sufficient detail for replication. It should include the following
    components: Research Design, Study Area / Research Context, Data Collection, Variables and
    Measurements, Data Analysis, and Research Framework (Optional)
7. RESULT AND DISCUSSION (Cambria font 12, Align Left, Spacing 1.15).
    The discussion of the results of research and testing obtained is presented in the form of theoretical
    descriptions, both qualitatively and quantitatively. Experimental results should be displayed in the form
    of graphs or tables. For graphs, follow the format for charts and drawings
8. CONCLUSION (Cambria font 12, Align Left, Spacing 1.15).
    The conclusion should not repeat the discussion. It should:
    A. Answer the research objectives;
    B. Summarize the major findings;
    C. Highlight the study's novelty;
    D. Present theoretical implications;
    E. Present managerial implications;
    F. Present policy implications (if applicable);
    G. Recommend future research
   “Avoid introducing new information”
9. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS (Optional) (Cambria font 12, Justify, Spacing 1,15)
    Mention funding agencies, institutions, research assistants, or individuals who contributed but do not
    meet authorship criteria.
10. CONFLICT OF INTEREST (Cambria font 12, Justify, Spacing 1,15)
    Authors must declare whether any competing interests exist. Example "The authors declare no conflict
    of interest."
11. REFERENCES (Cambria, font 10, Spacing 1)
      Authors are expected to use recent and relevant scholarly literature. Requirements:

  1. Minimum 30 references.
  2. At least 80% should be journal articles.
  3. Prioritize international peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus or Web of Science.
  4. At least 80% of references should be published within the last five years unless citing seminal works.
  5. Every in-text citation must appear in the reference list and vice versa.
  6. Use APA Style (7th Edition).
  7. Include DOI for all references whenever available.
  8. Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, EndNote, or Zotero.
  9. Excessive self-citation and citation manipulation are not permitted.
